In Waves and War Screening and Panel Discussion

On June 23, the Modern Health Coalition hosted a panel discussion and screening of In Waves and War, a documentary following three former Navy SEALs and their families as they navigate trauma, brotherhood, and recovery through psychedelic-assisted therapy.

The evening brought together perspectives from veterans, clinicians, and researchers on psychedelic-assisted therapy, veteran healing, and what building safe, regulated pathways for access to these therapies could mean for people here in Missouri.

Panelists

William (Trey) Warren III, PhD, Navy combat veteran and TOPGUN graduate

Larry Shapiro, PhD, clinical psychologist and founder of Quantum Behavioral, LLC

Josh Faller, PLPC, USMC veteran and former law enforcement officer

Leopoldo J. Cabassa, PhD, professor and Co-Director of the Center for Holistic Interdisciplinary Research in Psychedelics (CHIRP) at Washington University
